Illustrations and Graphic Design
Been doing a lot of this stuff lately just out of boredom, or if ever there are some friends or random persons who would like me to make something for contribution or collaboration. I do everything in Illustrator and layout afterwards in Photoshop, my main key pieces are usually one vector image (or sometimes two), colorful details or elements, lots of gradients, and various contrast of colors.
Vector art for a 2008 (or maybe 2009) calendar
Commissioned by my dear friends at Graphika Manila to create something that you feel like creating - so I did what I do best which is ladies in the most bizarre positions.
Personal artwork, also a crontribution to various vector portals
It's pink and green. My two favorite colors combined. I've always loved to play around eye colors in vectors and this is my first time to really focus on it with a lot of hair details too. Took me half a day to complete using Illustrator.
Blackflood Illustrations
Blackflood called for entries to include in their illustration book project which aims to showcase illustrations using two basic colors which is black and white. I submitted two designs and had the second one (on the right) published. Both drawn first in adobe illustrator and layed out in photoshop after.
Trisha
The reference photo I used for this artwork was from Carl's photoshoot in my hometown. The shoot had an urban theme to it and I thought of playing with it adding lights, elements, and emphasize the heart thing.
Personal artwork, first faces
These are the first faces I vectored back in 2005. Using random reference photos from magazines, I just had fun with them and did a few experiments using colors, trace, lines and shapes. This can have a face lift artwork soon.
Random graphic
I was trying to create a different world around her that seemed outer space-y but it didn't turn out that way. It just became like a plum floating patch of grass with a lady in the middle. Hahaha.
Personal artwork
Been playing around lately with different hair treatments and/or styles and this one was one of my experiments. It's still a work in progress but i liked the simplicity of it, the details brought upon by various lights and elements, and the glowing colors.
